For the past week all my "free" time is being put to working on our curriculum materials. I got the LOTW curriculum and K4 Curriculum from Confessions of a Homeschooler. I've been printing, cutting, and laminating. Puchki won't be required to start Kindergarten until Sept. 2014 but I feel that he is ready and should "go to school" now. As soon as I get these things ready we will start. I hope to use these over the summer and start with Kindergarten in Sept.
We've been working through the book Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons. To see Puchki go from just knowing his alphabet and letter sounds to reading so well has just been amazing. Yesterday we did Lesson 57 today we will do Lesson 58.
